valaki fel tett egy bejelentést egy az M74-ben talált 12,4 magnis
szupernóva-jelölt felfedezéséről.

Bright transient in M74 - PSN J01364816+1545310
July 26, 2013

Patrick Schmeer (SPK, Bischmischeim, Germany) reports via
baavss-alert and vsnet-alert that a bright (12.4 U) transient,
discovered in M74 (NGC 628) on 2013 July 25.80 UT, has been
announced on the CBAT Transient Object Page. The discover´s name
does not appear there. The presence of the transient has been
confirmed by Andrzej Pigulski on 2013 July 27 0:00 UT in
vsnet-alert 16057.

Spectroscopy is needed to confirm the nature of this transient.
Visual and CCD observations are also encouraged.

The transient is offset 93E 135S from the nucleus of M74.

Coordinates (2000.0): R.A. 01 36 48.16 Dec. +15 45 31.0

A finder chart with a Henden (USNO) sequence may be created
using the AAVSO Variable Star Plotter (VSP) at
http://www.aavso.org/vsp.
Input the coordinates, and click on the DSS image overlay option
for best results.

This object has not yet been added to VSX. When it is, please
submit observations to the AAVSO International Database using
the name PSN J01364816+1545310.
