Very Bright CV discovered by MASTER
MASTER OT J004527.52+503213.8 - new bright CV with large outburst amplitude
MASTER-Amur auto-detection system discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 00h
45m 27.52s +50d 32m 13.8s on 2013-09-17.66803 UT. The OT unfiltered
magnitude is 12.5m (limit 17.4m). The OT is seen in 4 images. There is no
minor planet at this place. We have reference image without OT on
2012-09-24.68811 UT with unfiltered magnitude limit 19.3m.
The OT at quiescence is identical to the blue star USNO-B1.0 1405-0020846
(00 45 27.508 +50 32 15.56 B1=18.64 R1=19.27 B2=19.69 R2=19.95 I=19.30).
Color-combined (BRIR) finder chart is uploaded to
http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/J004527+503213-BRIR.jpg (10´x10´ FOV).
There is also an UV counterpart GALEX J004527.5+503215 (NUV=19.27+/-0.12).
Nothing is present at this position in 1RXS, 2MASS, GCVS and AAVSO VSX.
This area of sky in Cassiopeia is not covered by SDSS and CRTS. Object was
at minimum light on 9 DSS plates and on 6 NEAT images of 2002 Sep. 24.
Based on the blue color and outburst amplitude, MASTER OT
J004527.52+503213.8 is most likely a dwarf nova of WZ Sge (UGWZ) type in
superoutburst. Follow up observations are required. The discovery and
reference images are available at:
