Wow! Ez érdekes lehet. Én bánom, hogy a TD manapság már nem olyan
"űries", mint a 70-es években volt, dehát ez van. Azóta is keresek olyan
bandákat, akik még ma is ilyesmfajta zenét játszanak. Talán Schulze?

Hmmm...nem emlékszem már, de biztosan. Talán akkor, amikor a TD
ritkaságokat szereztem be.

Jó zenélgetést.

De ha már itt vagyunk, beidézem a fickó teljes levelét, hátha valakit
érdekel mélyebben (szándékos szójáték) a téma:

Hi all

I know this is OT, but my astronomy hobby has really influenced my
other work: creating sounds for virtual musical Instruments called
VSTi ( Virtual Studio Technolgy Instrument) Basically it allows you to
explore and play sounds from your computer with a cool graphical
interface with knobs and buttons that you can play with using the mouse.

My Company AlgoMusic has just released a new project. Heres the (
short) Blurb:

The M51 galaxy VSTI ( for PC only)
Inspired by the M51 Whirlpool Galaxy in the constellation Canes
Venatici.  "A galaxy of sound to explore"

Demo VST:

The demo allows loading and saving of patches with only a periodic
short burst of sound.

Another astronomical inspired VST
is our M42 Nebula on the same site.

I also inspired a free one called CYGNUS

http://www.krakli.co.uk/cygnus.htm

nice and spacy! The stars are actually knobs that change the sound!

For the tech minded:
If you want to play with the demo´s and also Cygnus: (and you´ve never
played with VST´s at all)

first install:

Asio4all

http://www.asio4all.com/

http://tippach.business.t-online.de/asio4all/A4Av2Ins.exe

these are good audio drivers.

Then download and install:

Mini Host
http://www.tobybear.de/p_minihost.html

Use the Load VST menu and browse to the DLL file and load up the VST.
You can play it with the built in keyboard with the mouse or hit F6
and you can play it with the computer keyboard which acts as a piano
keyboard. Have fun!

Imagine playing presets with names like TeleView, Dumbell nebula,
Telrad, ect :-)
Had a lot of fun creating these sounds and also looking up interesting
names for them in my astronomical literature.

so..I hope there are musicians on this list!! Seems like Music and
Astronomy goes well together. William Herschell thought so :-)
